The uncertainty of the current USA lead tariff turmoil has affected industry confidence in NZ
The current geopolitical environment has caused industry to take a “wait and see” position. We understand the need to be cautious and based on industry feedback, we have made the decision to cancel Autorama 2025. Autorama sets out to celebrate industry but without confidence and excitement from the automotive sector the event can’t function.
Next year is a general election year and oftentimes business takes a cautious approach to spending leading into an election. The Autorama team is reviewing the event for 2026 optimistically and will seek feedback from industry about an event in October 2026.
If a major player in the automotive sector or consortium of positive minded automotive business owners would like talk to us about their ideas for Autorama 2026, we’re keen to talk.
